About Allison
I am a Union County native, born and raised in Monroe and I now live on the outskirts of Waxhaw. I have been married for 26 years and have three awesome sons, two dogs, and one cat. I met my husband while we both worked at Griffin Motor Company during high school. I have made many friends throughout the years and loved my time here with the Griffin family! I have been with the Griffin organization for 32 years. I started as a 16-year-old working in the accounting office and loved the car business from the beginning, especially having the opportunity to work for such a fantastic company. I graduated from Monroe High School and then went to Wingate College, where I obtained a Bachelor in Science degree in Accounting. While attending Wingate, I worked a full-time position at Griffin Motor Company and loved being able to apply my classroom knowledge in a real-life job setting. My position has evolved over the years as the Griffin family has added more dealerships to our organization, and the need arose for a Human Resources Director. During my years working as an accounting clerk and HR employee, I gained my PHR and SHRM-CP certifications. When the office manager of our GM dealership retired in 2016, I had the opportunity to work a dual role as both the HR Director for Griffin Automotive Group and the Controller of Griffin Motor Company. Later that year, we added the Griffin Mitsubishi dealership, and I earned the same role there as well. While it has been very challenging, it has also been a very satisfying step in my career, and I am thankful for the opportunity!
